Tony Blair in Rwanda

November 14, 2008

Tony Blair is visiting Rwanda these days. After he left office, he become an “unpaid adviser” to the Rwandan government of President Kagame. His webpage showed yesterday a press release on his visit to Congo´s neighbour.

According to a recent article appeared on the Independent, the UK would actually be blocking the deployment of an EU military force in Eastern Congo. The question that can be raised now is: if the UK intervened in Siera Leone, why did they do it? and why not in the DRC?
