I'm starting a blog on the subject of the lack of media coverage on the DR Congo crisis to coincide with my masters thesis which will study it in comparison with the Gaza conflict, might be interesting for you to follow perhaps. With the mainstream media basically singing from the same songbook as powerful Western governments and multinational corporations, the internet seems to be one of the few tools available to bring this conflict to attention! I have spent a long time trying to find out why conflicts like that in the DRC cannot attract and maintain attention. I have written a book on the subject (called Stealth Conflicts) and have recently started a blog under the same title. I will link your blog. Let's keep up the pressure! Great blog!
